If you look at the TC21D in your New Holland brochures, you will see approximitrly the same tractor minus a couple of horses.Earlier this year New Holland discontiued the TC25's (which was a class II Boomer)and introduced this new TC24D, which is a classI Boomer.

The 12LA loader is one of the new generation loaders by New Holland. It looks like a scaled dowwn version of the 16LA loaders found on the the Class III Boomers (TC35,40,45). There is also a new 14LA loader that is supposed to be introducerd soon as a replacement for the venderable 7308 loaders for the Class II Boomers (TC29 and TC33's). It was my understanding that the new smaller LA loaders wouldn't even hit the dealers till later this fall.

Agood freind of mine received ....

A good freind of mine received a quote on one, dated 06/21/02, with hydro and 12LA loader on R4 tires for $14,900. He ended up purchasing a new TC30 (economy tractor) with 7308 loader on R4's for the same price. ....

I am buying a new TC24D with 12LA Loader & bucket and R4 tires for $15,000, and an extra 12LA Loader w/o a bucket for $2,300. My Curtis Plow will go on the extra loader arms.
I need a small tractor for snow removal in tight places. I'm trading my TC18 which has a quick attach plate for a bucket and the plow, but I have found that the implements are further forward with the quick attach than they otherwise would be and this places the weight too far forward for this small machine, reducing the lift capacity enough to be annoying. ....

I got my tractor the day before Labor day and have been using it daily.I could not be happier. It cut my mowing time down from 6 hours to 2 hours.I am just getting used to it now and it is time to service it .Does anyone know if the filters are available from an autoparts dealer?
